Thank You God for Blessing Me: Book Review

_240_360_Book.458.coverI was thrilled to receive a copy of this book to review. The vibrant illustrations, Max Lucado’s vivid writing, and the durability of this book make it perfect for the little tots in your life. Hermie is a happy, little, green caterpillar who thanks God for his blessings all throughout the day. This book is a great way to remind children of the blessings in their lives as well. The poetry introduces children to the wonderful world of rhyme, and the words introduce a few science concepts, all while drawing children’s eyes with colorful pictures of Hermie and his animal friends.

As we are nearing the Thanksgiving season, this book would be a fantastic gift for those nephews and nieces you love so much! I enjoyed reading it, and its simple message reminded me to take a minute to count my blessings as well. I can’t wait to share it with my nephews the next time they visit! I love the strong message at the end that obedience is a way of showing thankfulness!

Thank You God for Blessing Me is a 10 page board book published by Tommy Nelson. You can find it online at or at Christian Book Distributors.

**** I received a copy of this book from BookSneeze in exchange for an honest blog review. I did not receive any other compensation, and all opinions expressed are my own.

  1. Sounds like a cute book! My son loves the Hermie books and has gone through two of the prayer journals already. :)

Hi everyone! I am so glad that you dropped by. So, tell me, what did you think of this post?
