Pumpkin Chip Cookies

Near this time of year, my husband always asks me to make these tasty cookies. They are a cakey cookie, and the pumpkin makes them a perfect fall treat.

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 eggs
2 cups canned pumpkin
2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cloves
4 cups flour
1 12 oz. package chocolate chips

Directions:
Cream butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Drop onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes.
