Precious Moments Storybook Bible (Book Review)

_225_350_Book.311.cover

The first thing that I noticed as I browsed through this story Bible was the beautiful illustrations. Sam Butcher’s drawings are captivating and give little eyes plenty to look at, little minds plenty to think about, and little imaginations a whole new world to dream about. Each picture is bordered with the same beautiful pastel colors that we all associate with Precious Moments.

This 180 page Bible is full of stories that will help your child grow closer to God. Each story is written in simple English for little minds, and gives corresponding Scripture references. The Storybook Bible is divided into four sections, Favorite Bible Classics, Words of Praise and Wisdom, More Stories of the Faith, and Songs and Prayers.

This book is definitely a keepsake as well. It contains a family tree, a church record, a page to record your child’s favorite things, a page for you to write your prayers for your child, and a place for your child to write his/her own bedtime prayer.

I love this Storybook Bible and am carefully putting it away until we are blessed with children of our own.

This book is published by Tommy Nelson, a division of Thomas Nelson Publishing. You can find it online at places like Amazon or CBD.

**** I received this book from Thomas Nelson Publishers in exchange for an honest review as a part of the BookSneeze program. All opinions expressed are my own. There was no other compensation.
