I have always been a fan of Max Lucado’s personal writing style, so I leapt at the oppurtunity to review this book. I was glad that I did.
Max Lucado wrote Outlive Your Life to inspire believers to have the vibrancy, the world-changing belief, and the courage that the early church had. He uses illustrations and stories to make the teachings of the Biblical book of Acts relevant to today’s Christian.
Mr. Lucado reminds us that although none of us can touch everyone, we can each touch someone. When we each touch someone, we can change the world. This book made me seriously think about how I am reaching out to those around me.
This book is easy to read, either all at once, or in sections. It would be fantastic to work through as a Bible study, and even contains study questions for further discussion.
If you are tired of living life in the status quo, then I recommend that you read this book for yourself. Allow yourself to be challenged and inspired by the thoughts and words of Max Lucado, a New York Times best-selling author. But even more than that, allow yourself to be drawn back to the story of the early church and the changes it made in the world!
