
Every Christmas, Jason’s mom makes these yummy cookies. This year, I decided to give them a try. I only made a third of the recipe, which still made about two dozen cookies.
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 1/3 sticks butter
1 2/3 cup peanut butter
1 1/3 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon karo syrup
2 teaspoons vanilla
6 cups oatmeal
1 scant tablespoon soda
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup m&ms
Directions:
Mix butters, sugars, egg, karo syrup, and vanilla. Blend in other ingredients. Drop with an ice cream scoop onto pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Let cool on pans before removing.
Monster cookies don’t contain any flour, so they are rather gooey and need to sit for quite a while to cool. These cookies are super easy to freeze.
