Doggie Bows

When I first told my husband about Maiden America’s offer for me to review dog barrettes, he laughed. However when I got them in the mail and put them in Daphne’s hair, he said, “She’s so cute! I don’t think I’ll look at her the same way again!”

When I first got the bows, I was skeptical. Daphne’s hair is not incredibly long, and is really fine. However, the bows stayed in and stayed secure. As a matter of fact, I left one in for three days, and it hadn’t moved a bit, even though our dog is very active.

I received 6 bows in order to do this review. Each one was well-made and carefully packaged. The generous folks at Maiden America even included an extra bow as a surprise!

The service and shipping were great. The bows were well-made and beautiful. I was very pleased with the product.

Daphne looks lovely with the bows in her fur. If I could, I would take a picture, but unfortunately, she is so active that I could not get her to sit still! Updated to add: Later I did, so I added the pictures.

  5. I would not have thought of using them on this breed but I'm NOT SHOCKED they stay!! :-) Thank you so much for taking the time to review our products - coming from a journalism background, I have zero expectation other than folks say what they think about their experiences and so far, we've been SUPER fortunate!!

    With gratitude,

  6. I checked out Maiden America's website. They do have a lot of cute things. A LOT of different barrettes...flowers, velvet, ribbon, pearls, etc. They also have some beautiful headbands and handbags. My daughter had very thin hair when she was born and I couldn't get barrettes or much of anything to stay for very long. I wonder if these would have worked.
