Bridal Shower

Last night was my sister’s bridal shower. Her matron of honor hosted it with the help of the bridesmaids, my sister-in-law, and myself.

Sarah, the matron of honor, designed and made the invitations. Aren’t they fantastic?

The center pieces were alternated, between the picture above and the one below.

Each cupcake was topped with a custom cake pick with Nathan and Charity’s monogram. I wish I would have gotten a better picture of this table. It really looked nice.

The place settings alternated between black with white napkins, and white with black napkins.

We played several games.

In this game, each person tried to guess how much various cleaning supplies cost.

And then, Charity, the bride-to-be had to sit on some balloons to pop them in search of pieces of paper.

Her helper was rather apprehensive!

Yet another game.

The food.

On the menu:

Cucumber Sandwiches

(I hope to post the recipe for these soon!)

Ham Salad Sandwiches

Fruit tray

Vegetable tray

Cheeseball and crackers

Finger Jello

And of course, there were presents. Charity is so good about saying something thoughtful about each gift! She enjoyed opening and showing off her gifts.
