Peach Cobbler

This recipe comes from Jason's mother. It is probably his favorite dessert, so I make it often.

You'll need:
1 can fruit of your choice (You could also use sweetened fresh fruit.)
1 stick butter or margarine

1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk

Melt stick of butter and pour into 9x13 inch pan.

In a mixing bowl, combine all other ingredients except for fruit. Mix until well blended. Pour into pan over butter.

Top with fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on top.

Serve warm, cool, or cold. Top with ice cream, whipped topping, or nothing. No matter how you slice it, this is a delicious treat!
