Early Birthday/Valentines Day

Tomorrow is my birthday, and Saturday is Valentines Day. My husband and I went out to Old Country Buffet and Cold Stone Creamery last Friday to celebrate. With birthday club coupons, and a gift card from a giveaway I won, we managed the whole date for $15. As far as I knew, that was my "birthday meal."

So, needless to say, I was quite surprised when I arrived home tonight to this:
Steamed green beans, boiled russet potatoes, garden salad, and bacon wrapped scallops! Yum!

Don't go away, there's more:
No, you can't read the inside!! Shame on you for asking! :-)

There's still more, hold on:

Aren't they beautiful!

Don't leave me yet:
Yes, my DH, who said that he would never bake me a birthday cake after the "Jello Congradulations Cake disaster" (long story, 'nother post, 'nother time) baked (from scratch) a yellow cake, and decorated it with pink whipped icing (that showed up white in the pictures) and conversation hearts! He told me that it was a "Valentines cake" not a birthday cake, so he is still keeping his promise!

Then, he told me that there are more surprises to come! Is my husband amazing or what! No drooling, envying, or jealousy allowed!
