One year!

As of today Jason and I have been blessed to be married one whole entire year. There have been about a gazillion changes this year, and a lot has happened in both of our lives, but I am so blessed to be married to Jason. He is more wonderful to me than I could imagine, and each day I am learning to love him more.
Through all my weirdness and emotions, Jason still manages to put up with me and not to give up on loving me. Thanks, Jason for all you do, and all you are! I love you oodles and bunches.
I am including in this post the song that I wrote for our wedding. Unfortunately I didn't get to sing it because of a sore throat, but that doesn't mean it isn't true.

Some people say that we're starstruck,
But I say we're in love.
And the love I give to you,
Is based on God above.
Others say its just a fling,
And it will go away,
But the love I feel for you,
God has put it there to stay.

Oh, may our love be based on He,
Who is the keeper of the stars.
May our love be based on He,
Who created Earth and Mars.
The maker of the heavens,
Brought us here today.
The Creator of the universe
Planned it just this way.

Many people say today,
They really are in love,
But their love just fades away,
Because its not from God above.
May our love always be,
Based upon God's own.
May it last for eternity,
And be built on God alone.

Oh, may our love be based on He,
Who is the keeper of the stars.
May our love be based on He,
Who created Earth and Mars.
The maker of the heavens,
Brought us here today.
The Creator of the universe
Planned it just this way.

Jason dear, today we're here,
To give our lives away,
Not for our ownselves to live,
But for the other every day.
And as I pledge to you my love,
I pray that we will grow,
More like Jesus everyday,
So that the whole world will know. . .

That our love is based on He,
Who is the keeper of the stars.
That our love is based on He,
Who created Earth and Mars.
The maker of the heavens,
Brought us here today.
The Creator of the universe
Planned it just this way.
