Friday's Fifteen . . . A

Thanks to Denise Truesdale's blog, I got the idea to blog about fifteen things in my life that I am thankful for every Friday (or at least most Fridays). The only catch is that they should be alliterated, each week with a different letter. Anyway. . . I thought it would be a good excercise in thankfulness and in thought.

1. Allona - my little sister has encouraged me so many times. She is growing up to be a beautiful young lady, and I am proud of her.
2. Andy - my big brother. As children, we were enemies, but we have grown to be close friends. I appreciate his advice, his acceptance of me, and all his other amazing abilities!
3. the Academy - where I teach. I love my job, and can't think of anything that I would rather do.
4. Adoption - both physically, since without it I would not have my little brother and sister, and spiritually. I am so blessed to be adopted into God's family.
5. Animals - I love animals, and am grateful for them, even for our spoiled rotten cat.
6. Art - Without it, where would the world be? I'm thankful that God created us with the ability to make things of beauty.
7. America - Yes, I know America has its faults, but we have strengths as well. America is a wonderful place to claim as your own.
8. Apple pie - Yum!
9. Andes mints - Those are about the best you can get!
10. Aunts - I have 8, and I love every one of them.
11. Arms - I don't know what I'd do without them!
12. April Anniversary!- I am definitely thankful for that!
13. Aquariums - preferably with fish. . . I could watch them for hours.
14. Annette Musser - such a sweet friend! I miss you!
15. Articulation - I can't imagine what it would be like if we could think, but could not articulate our thoughts. What a frustrating mess of a world we would have.
