Soup, anyone?

My third graders were to write a sentence using the contraction I'm. One of my students very carefully wrote in his neatest handwriting. "I'm a human bean." One of the other teachers suggested I make soup. I don't think I will, though.

  2. I used think that's what it was too...human bean. Just went over the "we wish you a merry Christmas...good tidings we bring to you and your KIN" instead of "KING" today with my middle girl. Kids think the funniest things.

  3. That's cute! A couple years ago, I heard a lady say that her daughter used to sing "Later on we'll squish spiders as we scream by the fire. . ." Now that's all I can think of when I hear the song Walking In a Winter Wonderland!
