Once upon an eon. . . Bethany posts on her blog.

No pictures this time, just chatty little tidbits. I am learning that the older I get, the easier it is to find things to talk about, and the harder it is to find things to write about. I realize that this may sound strange, but when I was young, I would write all my feelings, and not share them with anyone. Now it seems as I am constantly sharing my feelings with someone, so it is rare that I write them down. The more that I think about it, the more I want to get out my journal and start writing again, though. There are days when I want to write so badly, but I don't take the time. Years from now, I think that I will wish that I did, so maybe I had better start once again.

In other news. . . Fall is quickly reaching its end. The leaves are beautiful in their russets, oranges, and browns, and they are covering the ground in a colorful carpet. The wind is becoming nippy, and we have finally turned on our furnace. No longer can we drive with the sunroof back. My students are hoping for snow, and I wouldn't mind it. The last week brought much needed rain, causing my students to stay in for breaks, which in turn causes hyperactivity. I was so encouraged when a certain one of my students got his first 100% of the year on a spelling test on Friday! I was thrilled, and so was he. He told everyone he saw all day, and I told everyone that he didn't. I am thanking God for answering prayers. I pray for my students daily, and when I see progress like this, I know that God is working!

Jason got overtime, and had to work Friday night. I missed him sorely! As it is, he is only here on Friday and Saturday nights normally. (He has to go in at midnight all the other nights.) I am so thankful that he works so hard to provide for me. I am blessed to have a husband who is such a diligent worker.

Umm. . . honestly, I do not know what else to tell you. I hope that you are taking time to enjoy these happy days of fall. Savor the memories you make, and spend a few minutes counting your blessings. It is amazing what a difference five minutes can make in your day!

I hope that you each have a wonderful week, and that God blesses you in a special way!!
